About this event

The European Commission is launching calls for AI and Blockchain organisations — and we want startups to take advantage of the significant budgets available.

The Startup Europe Deep Tech Workshop will highlight the main calls currently open, how can startups participate, present organisations that are actively looking to include startups in their proposals and bring the Commission closer to the agile innovators.

Startups are eligible to participate in these calls if:

- Active in either AI or Blockchain (check call details)

- Legally existing for +2 years

Preliminary Agenda:

6:00-6:45 pm

Intro & Presentation by EC officials on calls relevant for Deep Tech startups

AI: Call #1 - Robotics in Application Areas

Blockchain: Call #1 Supporting the emergence of data markets and the data economy & Call #2 Next Generation Internet — An Open Internet Initiative

The subject of cascading calls in 2019 in the domain of Next Generation Internet will also be presented.

6:45-7:15 pm

Roundtable with past beneficiaries – Startups, SMEs and Corporate.

7:15-8:00 pm

Two way pitching:

1) Organisations looking to build a consortium with startups OR involve them in their future call applications

2) Startups pitch their business and technology

8:00-8:30 pm

Informal networking
