We are moving to a new location and bigger space! Join us as we celebrate the opening of our new Startup Guide Store in Lisbon on Sunday, November 4th. There will be drinks, snacks and wide variety of books, magazines and gadgets to check out.
The very first Startup Guide Store, which is in Berlin, actually opened up in August 2017. Originally intended to be our office, we realized the space was bigger than what our five-person team needed at the time. So we transformed a part of the office to be a physical space to showcase our books and products from our favorite makers; it became our first store!
Just a few months after that, in late 2017, we opened our second store which was in Lisbon at LX Factory. Both the Berlin and the Lisbon store have served as a home for our offices but also as a space for us to host events, meet and connect with the community but also to showcase unique products from startups.
While we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the vibrant community of innovators at LX Factory, our growing team was in need of a bigger space to help people #startupeverywhere. We chose to explore a different neighborhood in Lisbon and continue to renovate our new home in the Now Beato co-working space. Our partners Toyno have put countless hours into conceptualizing, designing and building out the new space, and it should be ready (fingers crossed) in time for November 4th!
Our vision for the stores will continue to move forward in the upcoming months, with the opening of a third store in Copenhagen and some exciting changes to our Berlin store in winter 2019.
