As thousands of techies will descend on Lisbon during the week of Web Summit from Nov. 5th-8th, we thought we’d take the opportunity to host a workshop in the Portuguese capital. The workshop, sponsored by Wirecard, aims to support new entrepreneurs and already existing companies with finding the best payment solutions.
Named “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Payment Galaxy,” at the workshop you’ll learn about the top players in the market and have your questions answered about common topics such as payment security, integration and fees. Boris Bongartz, Head of Sales (Digital Merchants) at Wirecard, will be on board to help you navigate your payment options.
Agenda:
– A market overview of payment service providers– Integration options, including potential solutions for fast onboarding– Payment security challenges: handling chargebacks, 3D secure vs. non 3D, fraud prevention solutions, specialized fraud prevention suppliers– The future of payments: in-app payment, widgets and other innovative payment methods– Beer, snacks and networking with other startups!
Since the workshop will be hosted at our new Startup Guide Store which is in the NOW_Beato co-working space, you’ll also be to check out some of our startup products, indie magazines and guides.
