About this event

We are pumped to invite you to a very special side-event of the Web Summit.

On November 2, we will gather to discuss the most burning issues of our industry with a focus on the opportunities and challenges that women are facing within the tech community.

Speakers from the Wtech (community of Ukrainian women in tech), Women in Tech Portugal, and Reaktor (a global software company) will dive deep into the tech industry trends and the shift in the Portuguese tech talent market, the most relevant skills to have in 2023, DEI and resilience of the tech field — and of course we will answer the questions from the community.

After the panel discussion and Q&A, we will have a chance to enjoy delicious snacks and drinks, chat and meet new amazing people (potential colleagues, employers, or friends), and dance to the DJ tunes into the night.

This evening is special, as we are going to celebrate:

- the launch of Wtech Portugal branch

- the 4 year anniversary of our Wtech community (launched back in 2018 in Ukraine)

After the event, shuttle buses will depart from the venue to Pink Street, where the official Web Summit party will continue.

Event will take place in English.
