About this event
Join us for an intimate gathering of Principals, GPs, emerging managers and LPs during Web Summit in Lisbon.
This session is designed for VC fund managers navigating the realities of building a firm today. From fundraising and LP relationships to differentiation, sourcing, conviction, and surviving the emotional rollercoaster.
We’ll host a candid live Q&A with members of the first Mastermind cohort:
Anieke Lamers — Founder of The VC Coach and Operating Partner at Borski Fund
Liliana Negrila — Senior Advisor at Pitch Me First — formerly at EIF
Adam Hashchyshyn — Principal at Roosh Ventures
Yang Chen — Investor at NaturalX Health Ventures
Rather than polished panels or generic advice, this will be a practical and honest conversation around:
What principals and emerging managers are really struggling with today
What support they actually need
How to build momentum before the title or institutional validation
The power of peer networks and shared experience
Lessons from managers already in the arena .
Expect an informal format, meaningful connections, and space for open discussion with fellow GPs and allocators. This gathering is hosted by The VC Coach and PitchMeFirst who jointly created the Mastermind for principals and emerging managers: mastermind.thevccoach.com which will kick off its next cohort in January 2027.
Who should attend?
Principals and Investment Managers
Emerging and first-time fund managers
Solo GPs

LPs interested in the next generation of venture firms Operators transitioning into investing
Location: will become visible after acceptance but it’s near the main conference area.
