About us

EIT Community Supernovas is a pan-European initiative led by EIT Urban Mobility, EIT Food and 28DIGITAL, dedicated to increasing gender diversity across Europe’s innovation and investment ecosystem.

Since its launch, Supernovas has trained 700+ women investors, from venture capital professionals to aspiring angel investors, equipping them with the knowledge, networks and confidence to make informed, high-impact investment decisions. The initiative has also supported 100+ women-led startups, helping them raise more than €95 million in funding while accelerating their growth across Europe.

FemTech Portugal is a non-profit association dedicated to accelerating women’s health innovation in Portugal. We bring together founders, healthcare professionals, researchers, investors, and advocates to connect, collaborate, and create a meaningful impact in women’s healthcare.

Our mission is to build a strong and inclusive ecosystem that empowers innovation, supports collaboration, and amplifies the voices shaping the future of FemTech in Portugal and beyond.

OW Ventures SCR is a CMVM-regulated venture capital manager based in Lisbon, with deep experience in the startup ecosystem and more than 75 startups invested. It backs early-stage founders through thematic funds: COREangels SportsTech, COREangels Atlantic, AngelsWay (pre-seed) and Terralis (sustainability tech). Its approach combines pre-seed conviction with operator-angel communities that bring capital and hands-on expertise together.

Moon Capital is a Lisbon-based venture capital fund investing in women-led companies across Portugal, Spain and the rest of the EU, through minority stakes in small and mid-cap businesses. Alongside capital it offers mentoring, coaching and a community for the founders it backs, built on a simple conviction: invest differently for equality.

Borski Fund is a VC firm investing in female-led and gender-diverse companies. Since 2019, they’ve deployed €40 million backing innovative founders who are reshaping industries—proving that success has no gender, and diverse teams deliver stronger returns.
